I have a similar experience due to a one-off mini-stroke I suffered 4 years ago. Travel Insurers quote me a much higher premium as a result of it (although I've been completely healthy since then), yet the substantially increased premiums don't cover any further mini-strokes! I would have thought that with coverage of mini-strokes excluded, my premium would be the same as for a perfectly healthy person.
