Lloyds TSB – best bank award

The Euromoney Awards for Excellence which is one of the most influential awards within the banking industry has been given to Lloyds TSB. This award identifies the successes of retail and wholesale banks throughout Europe.
Euromoney referred to Lloyds TSB’s good asset quality in comparison to its competitors and its increasing market share in the mortgage business. The bank has also enhanced its capital efficiency and released a considerable portion of its balance sheet. Euromoney stated that the performance at Lloyds TSB deserves much praise.
A spokesperson at Lloyds TSB announced that this is an excellent honour and the group overall has made a first-class contribution to the financial services sector.
Euromoney has been the world’s top financial markets magazine since 1992. Euromoney’s editor commented that selecting the best financial organisations is an extremely difficult task.
