The site is supported by Royal Bank of Scotland and will be available from 14th September 2007.

Tesco will not only compare motor insurance policies by cost but in addition, it will compare over 25 policy features across insurers so that customers can find the right insurance for them.

The free service offers customers insurance comparisons from a great range including products not available from other sites. Tesco currently lists details of around 30 different products including Sheila’s Wheels, AA, More Th> n, Churchill and many more.

A spokesperson for Tesco Compare commented that their customers have been requesting extra help in choosing their motor insurance. They require more than just the usual shop around tool for insurance premiums. Tesco have also guaranteed to obtain the best prices from partners for their customers.

Tesco Compare added that customers can expect to search from a wide range of products and find the right policy for them. Finally, there will be no extra costs or charges when it comes to paying for insurance, the price quoted will be exactly the same as if the customer went direct.
