OAMPS acquisition

Insurer OAMPS UK has acquired Keith Johnson & Co Ltd (KJ). David Barrett, the Managing Director of OAMPS said the acquisition will expand the scale of their Reigate operations and is a step towards the continued growth of their insurance broking operations in the UK.
Mr Barrett added that they are pleased to welcome the staff of Keith Johnson to OAMPS UK. They are a successful local insurance broker dealing with a wide range of commercial and personal lines business.
KJ has operations in Surrey and has been assisting the local area for over than 20 years. The business complements the current OAMPS’ operations.
OAMPS was acquired by insurer Wesfarmers last year and they have remarked about how pleased they are about the acquisition.
Keith Johnson, the principal of KJ said they were approached by several offers when deciding to sell the business but the packaged offered by OAMPS was the best solution for the future of the business.
