Two senior managers leave Allianz

Two senior managers have departed from Allianz after the group’s restructuring of its personal lines and specialty divisions.
Gareth Jones, formerly specialty lines division general manager and Nick Hall, until recently personal lines general manager have left from the company. The two departments have now merged and are being run by Jon Dye, former claims director.
The group’s chief executive, Andrew Torrance, said the departures were due to management changes but did reveal whether or not the two managers had chosen to leave the company or had been asked to leave.
Mr Torrance concluded by saying there would be no further job losses following the recent restructuring.
Allianz is a large financial service provider with its headquarters in Munich. The group’s main focus is on the insurance business. With €100 billion of revenue during 2004, Allianz is by far the biggest insurance company in Germany and one of the largest in the world.
Finally, the company is also the main sponsor of the Swiss Open tennis tournament.
