Lark acquires Griffiths Good and Company

Lark Insurance has acquired Griffiths Good and Company and as a result, increased its revenues to £20 million.
Graham Lark, chairman of Lark, said he is delighted to add Griffiths Good and Co to the group. It is a first-class corporate broking business and the deal represents a further step towards our strategic objective to become one of the leading brokers in the South East said Mr Lark.
Roy Griffiths of Griffiths, Good and Co, said it is never easy selecting a future business partner but Lark exceeded our expectations at every step so we are very pleased to be part of this dynamic and forward thinking broking group.
Griffiths, Good and Co is based in Hampshire, the firm has approximately £7 million GWP, £1 million revenue and employs 14 staff.
Groupama purchased Lark in September 2007, the group has 6 offices across London and the South-East and employs 225 staff.
