Leeds launches tracker ISA
by David Masters
Leeds Building Society has launched a new one year tracker ISA with a guaranteed interest rate 0.75% above the Bank of England’s base rate.
Savers can withdraw up to 25% of the initial amount invested in the Tracker ISA Plus at any time, without incurring a penalty.
The interest rate is guaranteed until at least the end of February 2010.
Leeds director of sales and marketing, Kim Rebecchi, said: “This is a simple, straightforward tax-free product paying 0.75% above BBR.
“This tracker also allows an unlimited number of withdrawals of up to 25% of the initial amount invested, without notice or penalty, providing additional flexibility and peace of mind.”
Leeds Building Society recently won the most promising new product accolade at the Financial Innovation awards for its Inflation Buster account.
