£50 voucher for new Tesco car insurance customers

Tesco has launched an array of car insurance special offers for the coming month - the time of year when motorists typically look to renew their policy.

Clubcard customers who buy Tesco car insurance before 1 April will receive a £50 Tesco gift voucher to spend in store.

In addition, online customers buying a breakdown policy for the first time will receive a 20% discount.

Customers buying both their car insurance and breakdown cover with Tesco will receive a £100 gift card instead of £50.

The supermarket bank said it aimed to help reduce costs for drivers hit by the credit crunch.

Allan Burns, head of Tesco Car Insurance, said: “We know times are tough and an extra £50 cash will no doubt come in handy.”

New Tesco Home Insurance customers taking out a policy before 1 April will also receive a £50 voucher.

The vouchers will not be available for Tesco Value Car Insurance or Value Home Insurance customers.
