Over the years there have been countless recessions, supermarkets have always sold cheap booze and the licensing has always been changed for one thing or another. Ordinary people like myself, and I don't even smoke, have stopped visiting pubs as the locals have all had enough of having to stand outside with their ciggies, and who can blame them? I, for one think the choice should be down to the landlord, smoking or non-smoking. If, there were smoking and non-smoking pubs all would do well.
