by David Masters
Sainsbury’s Finance has extended the special offer on its Internet Saver account until 5 September.
The offer, which pays interest at 2.9% Gross AER (variable), requires customers to deposit between £1,000 and £500,000.
Customers who fund the account with at least £1,000 within 30 days of opening will receive a bonus of 1,000 Nectar points.
To receive the special offer rate, customers must make no more than three withdrawals in a year.
Customers making more than three withdrawals will have their account reverted to the account’s standard interest rate of 0.51%.
Sainsbury’s Internet Saver has a “Moneyfacts – Trust It” rating for consistently offering a good interest rate over the past 36 months.
