Website offers ethical finance advice
Investors looking to make a positive difference with their money should visit the Your Ethical Money website, it emerged this week.
Ethical investment research group EIRIS showcased the website at this weekend’s UKAWARE 2010 green and ethical lifestyle show in London.
Consumers can use the website to find ethical options for current accounts, credit cards, savings, ISAs, mortgages, and pension funds.
“There is growing interest in ethical finance, suggesting that the
message that it is possible to both make money and make a difference when investing ethically is starting to get through to consumers,” said Mark Robertson, EIRIS communications and development manager.
“YourEthicalMoney.org makes it easy for members of the public to choose financial products which match their ethical concerns, helping them to make a positive difference with their money.
“Many consumers are taking action to incorporate ethical and green behaviour into their daily lives – ethical money is one of the many options where people can make a real difference.”
