BCC’s David Frost to stand down

| October 27, 2010

Business lobby group, the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC), has today announced that Director General, David Frost, will step down in the second half of 2011 after 8 years at the organisation.

Commenting on his departure, Mr Frost said: “I was brought into the BCC to turn the organisation around, to build its profile and to increase the influence of the Chamber of Commerce Network.”

He added that this goal had been achieved.

The search for Mr Frost’s replacement will commence in the coming months.

The BCC, which was established in 1860, represents more than 100,000 small and medium-sized enterprises in Britain.
