I have this credit card from argos apr is 17.9% and iv'e run my account 100% as you are supposed to. got a letter before stating apr was going up to 20.9%
in 60 days time, so was wondering is this happening just to me or are others having there apr raised, whats the best way to go about it. btw there are not many credit cards that allow you to transfer a balance from argos reason being something to do with the set up on argos's side, i did complain about this 2 times last month, wonder if iv'e riled them and they hike my apr up for that reason. what reason do company's use to change a cutomers apr, i know it,s all hidden deep in the t &c's but if that customer[me] has not done anything wrong to warrant a higher rate what can i do about it. Barclays are the underwriters of the Argos credit card...

To be honest I've seen a number of card APR's go up over the past month - I think a number of credit companies are trying to replace existing income for unfair charges before finally concluded against them.
