Has anybody looked at investing in stake in a business, for equity and hopefully a decent return?

It is something that has been intriging me lately, and something im looking at doing alongside my websites i'm developing.

I've found a couple of half decent portals being www.angelinvestmentnetwork.co.uk and Angels Den: Helping you find Business Funding & Angel Investment from Business Angels or Angel Investors

If anyone has actually looked into this, or made an investment, i'd love to have some opinions voiced.

I work with Angels Den and I think upto last week they were up to 127 deals completed since April 2007.

There's also a fair number of testimonials listed on Procustomer.net
