Default Best Opinion wanted

Hi Guys,

I've got £30k to put away and I've been pointed towards putting it into a Zenith Sterling Multi-manager Protected profits fund. I understand this is medium to long term but I'm not sure if it's the best thing for me.

A little about me: 57 year old, with a view to retiring within 3-5 years, higher bracket tax payer, wife is non-earner, non-taxpayer, got a few bonds, unit trusts, shares, ISA's etc. £30k in premium bonds and we've both got the maximum ISA for this year.

Do I go along with this investment, go for something else or put the money into one of my Pensions.

Open to all opinions & views.

Regards,
