Just thought I'd better remove the formatting on the text - was a bit much.

It's also worth noting some credit agencies offer travel insurance as a standard part of the package - check out to see what your banking or credit card offers as a part of your normal package.

2c.

I have often thought that vacation insurance wasn't worth it. I thought that hotel would refund you if you were made to leave ceause they broke the agreement you had in getting the room. Also, if you make reservations and then have to cancel because of a hurricane then you are refunded right? So far I've never had to deal with these issues. We drive wherever we go and it never seemed like something we needed.

All I know is when you rent a car, always get the insurance. My dad thought he would save a few bucks up front but then we got in an accident and he had to pay over $6000 to get the car fixed.

That is right. When talking about cars, always make sure that you have an insurance because accidents are inevitable and no knows what happens next. It pays to prepare.
