Lightbulb Contemporary Chinese Art

I've been hearing a lot about contemporary Chinese Art as a way of making money lately. It certainly not losing any that's for sure. I'm looking for alternative more tangible assets at present and this might just fit the bill. A friend of mine bought five prints from an artist called Zhao Tianqi in Beijing in 04 for $200.00, they're now worth over $500.00 a piece. Not bad work if you can get it.
Anyone else got any info on this medium as a form of investment?

I'm afraid not, but with luxuries in general, they can be somewhat high risk, and certainly not something many would focus their portfolio on.

I agree, certainly not something to focus on, but as an addition to one's assets it might be worth considering. I've done some searching and found a company called China Art Investments.com. Might be worth a look.
