The number of credit cards offering rewards to consumers has fallen by 11% in the past 12 months, research by Sainsbury’s Finance has discovered. I really dont see why people use credit cards, they are such a rip off

If used correctly credit cards are not a "rip off". In fact they can be very useful i.e added protection online, access to short term credit, convenience, etc.

They only become a rip off if you use then incorrectly, i.e. carry a balance, only pay the minimum monthly payment. Unfortunately too many people use credit cards in this way.

If you pay off your balance every month you can take advantage of cashback on purchases or other rewards. However, these reward schemes are decreasing and fewer are now available.

i totally agree with WBD credit cards are not at all rip offs, they actually are handy in credit shortage situations, it should be used wisely to avail all its benefits.
