Awesome dream money, but not very practical for most people.

The best domain names are long long gone.

You buy a domain you think has value, and you wait for a buyer pretty much.

In reality its hard to find a buyer with so many domains out there.

The best thing to do is to get the site, develop to a certain level and park with some ads on it, i wouldnt bother unless the domain has real value.

Don't listen to the Domain Value sites either - if they were right my sites would be worth a fortune!

The worst thing is that doing this can be very dangerous. If you use a registered trademark or copyrighted name, then try to sell it to the holders, they can sue you for infringement on the domain name. Remember the story about the family that bought harrypotter.mob? they got forced to give it up when they were trying to sell it for £2,000!

Still a lot of money to be made in domain names for those that knows how to play the game. See what fly.com sold for recently on SEDO. I wish i had that domain.

Seriously can pay off big time! But you really have to be ahead of the game and purchase potentially big names before they become big!
