Default ex dividend ?

if you buy before the ex dividend do you get the full dividend regardless if you own the shares for one day before ex or 3 months before ex.

ex dividend date is the date declared dividend and book shareowner to list of receivable name thus if you buy share before ex dividend date you will the one in list recievable. for more info

ok so say i buy a stock the day before ex dividend do i qualify for the whole dividend .

id invest in stock , forex you can loose to much but stock you have a higher chance of getting it right
