has anyone here availed of a female car insurance? it was my first time to hear about it and i was glad to know that the reason insurance companies are giving discounts on it is because statistics show that women make less claims and less costly at that. they were found to be safer drivers than men---i mean most of them. anyway, have you tried availing of one? how is it? is it really bang for the buck?

i have read from one insurance company's webpage that men can avail of this discount if their wife is a female car insurance policy holder.

I've always thought this was a good idea, especially when it comes to younger drivers. But I would think that with most companies giving discounts for being accident and ticket free, it probably won't make that much difference for most of us.

Is there such an insurance for male driver's only maybe like new drivers who aer young as Im having problems finding a reputable insurance company for my husband!

Although I thing the concept of female car insurance is cool - especially for newer drivers, with all the discounts given to folks who are accident and ticket free I would think it would be pointless.
