Default Re: First-time buyers dominate mortgage searches

This is again just a piece of PR nonsense from some consumer finance website. The fact that first time buyers are making 8.whatever% of searches on a website does not mean that confidence is returning. It could equally mean that they are continually looking because no lender will give them a mortgage.

There are now more 90% mortgages available than there has been in the last 18 months, a statistic which was generated by a trustworthy source - Moneyfacts but that still doesn't mean that first time buyers are getting mortgages.

In actual fact putting this type of rubbish on the forum to generate discussion actually devalues the forum's credibility.
