Default French criticism

Hi everyone,

I read an article on the guardian site last night of a french author who has written a book called 'the shipwreck of Britain'. It is all about how the Brits are damaging their society in the pursuit of 'meaningless enrichment' (unlike the french!). Unfortunately, I can't post links yet - but if you go to the Guardian website and search for Jacques Monin, the article is called 'How Britain lost its way'. I would really love to know what everyone thinks !
Very interesting!

Default Re: French criticism

sadly i think Monin has got it right. We have reduced everything to money.
Think football, think housing, think eating ,think tv.The driver and criterion always seems to be money. I wish he had offered a solution though.
