Default Going for a equity research job and I got a question :)

Hi Guys,
ive got a job interview at a big investment bank next week. The role is that of an equity researcher (on the sell side)
I know all about the role.BUT
They are going to ask me why I want to be an equity analyst and not work in corporate finance, private equity, consultancy etc....

Well, why do you want to work in that sector?

It's also worth noting that if you're working on the sales side, it may not be so pleasant as direct analyst work.
