Heating Oil Scam?
Where I live we regularly have commercials advertising a heating oil investment plan. It talks about investing now and how summer heat or winter cold (depends on the time of the year they run the commercial) is going to drive heating oil prices to all time highs. They have all the regular disclaimers, and it just seems like a scam.
The people who deal with the heating oil commodities every day know it goes up and down as demand rises and falls, yet this is the same logic they use to try and lure investors into this plan. I write it off as a complete loser but am curious if anyone with more experience in such commodities can shed any light to any validiity to such a plan. |

Re: Heating Oil Scam?
Commodities isn't my bread and butter but its obviously a high risk market. Still oil may yet see big gains especially over Iran so for the short-term there may be killings to be made.
