HSBC Premier Banking Sucks!!!
I am a Premier customer with HSBC and am definitely not impressed with the services provided so far.
When I lost my credit cards while I was overseas, I had so much trouble having to call various numbers just to tell HSBC to terminate my cards. Imagine being on the phone (not forgetting overseas call charges

) for almost 45 mins to tell 1 bank to terminate my cards!!! That's so unacceptable. I was made to call different numbers and to make matter worse, some bankers asked me to call the previous number again. They could at least re-route my call. I was just hoping that HSBC could work faster than the person who picked up my wallet and could have started using it.
I am not sure if this is a problem with UK banks? I don't seem to have that problem when I call my banker in Singapore to terminate my other cards. I just had to put in 1 call to Singapore and everything is settle for my Singapore accounts. Why can't HSBC in UK or Jersey do that? Do they consider this Premier Banking?
Conclusion:
HSBC Premier in UK and Jersey sucks!!! Simply no coordinations and that feel so terrible although they rolled out the Global banking crap! World Local Bank? More like the Worst Local Bank!!!
If you are considering a Premier Banking in UK? Maybe try Citi or Barclays. Don't jump into HSBC because of their perks which are so messy and uncoordinated anyway.
