Default investment where you lost money but learned a lot

have you had an investment wherein you lost your money but you gained the most meaningful lesson you need to learn?

I love your question. I feel like my whole life with money has been one big lesson. I should know a lot if you were to say wisdom was measured by how much money you've lost in your life

I haven't given up yet though because when I read about successful people they always talk about how much they lost at first. They lose money and they learn from it. It will be nice when I actually graduate though

Last year, I spent a lot on a business that I thought would do me good. After I lost from it, I have learned the biggest lesson in my life. What are these 2 lessons:
1. Diversify your funds.
2. Never spend what you can't afford to lose.

Yes, yes, yes. That's the key. Never ever invest money that you can't afford to lose. Whenever I dump a bit into the stocks, it's the same to me as going to a casino. If I win, great! If not, it was fun.
