Mesothelioma - as you're probably aware - is a specialised form of lung cancer which is caused by exposure to asbestos. And because of the laws surrounding asbestos use, it means cancer sufferers with mesothelioma can claim pretty big payouts.

The result is a raft of mesothelioma solicitors who chase chases, looking for a share in the payouts.

The question is, are these solicitors actually providing a useful service for sufferers with mesothelima, or are they the moral equivalent of ambulance chasers?

I'm going to go with the last one. It's one thing to announce that you are taking those sorts of cases. It's a whole other matter to be hunting them down actively.
