I've been using Kitco http://www.kitco.com/ for bullion purchases and buying in bullion coins. Though coins are taxed and bars are not, the coins are usually inflated 2-5% over nugget price so it's a trade off I'm happy with. The Australian Kugarans and Canadian Maple leafs tend to go at a premium over the American Eagles, though I know some people who prefer the 1 Dollar gold coins (Coronet head, Indian, PanPac, Mc Kinley, Grant).

With the new ETF there's bigger speculation in silver and I'm thinking of selling my coin bullion while the price is good and pushing the money into buying silver as I see better growth prospects.

It's an interesting article - and I'm sure I remember seeing the original moneyweek article ages ago. I guess I should listen again and put something in silver, but with silver still climbing, it makes me uncomfortable - I'd rather invest before a commodity really starts climbing, rather than once it's climbed for some time.

Metals are still climbing - no idea if it's a good time to buy, but it can only be good if you're looking to sell. Just depends on whether you feel you're selling short or not.

I have not really followe metals, at least not for a very long time. I do remember after gold ran up in the early 80s though, there was a time when silver was super hot and stayed that way for a while. Perhaps we are seeing this again.

I heard that MAG silver is one of the biggest finds in the world! It is still relatively cheap, but not for long. It will be a $30 stock before long. It’s a great buy and it was as low as $2.40 a few months ago. It is now close to $9! on the TSX-V.

One more thing..in fact, Bart Jarowski, an analyst said that the amount of silver they found (regarding MAG silver) is more than they ever dreamed of..and it will put this small company on the map. Some say there will be a takeover by Penelopes, a bigger silver company who has something like 56% - 60% in the company...but who would sellout to a bigger player if you can be a big player yourself?

Gold and silver both prices will go same, means if gold is up then obviously silver trend is also bull.Yes, silver fluctuation is more than gold.
