what books about money, investing or business do you recommend?

Currently just bought two to ease me in -

Investing For Dummies
The Financial Times Guide to Investing

Investing for Dummies seemed like a good primer - on the FT guide after that.

Buyiing a book is by itself an investment so I'm always a little bit concerned because some are waste of both money and time.

But coming from you the recommendation, worth a look at.

yeah, i have to agree with you mastermind. i have been a victim of various book sales that i always get excited about the rock-bottom prices. i end up realizing that i don't need the books i have bought or they are not that good at all. thanks for those recommendations, brian.

True, prices and catchy titles leading us to pitfalls.

Last in which I fell was getting an old edition of a pocket book renamed under a hardcover presentation.

I think it's worth looking at sources and trust - I'm never going to buy a guide that promises to make me rich - just a general tour of the basics should be enough.

It's also worth pointing out that if you plan to invest on the potentially volatile stock markets, then wasting money on a book should be the least concern!

oh, books with titles promising the reader that she'll be reach or would have to spend nothing to become wealthy always turn me off. i do always turn to those which give me the basics.

You could always right a book yourself about becoming a millionarie and then get rich from the royaloties - just a thought

Rich daddy poor daddy. I havent read it myself, but its been recommended by a lot of enterpreneur. I know others on here will also recommend it.
