Default Natural wealth consultants SCAM???

Trying to warn any other potential victims to this scam i posted this on another forum where someone contacted me who said he had purchased a site for £10,000.

Recently had a call from a company called natural wealth consultants based in canary wharf they said about rezoning land and once its been done should see a return of 4time my money. i would be buying a piece of farmland which will appreciate by 20% and in 2 years will be rezoned and i will see 40% and 4times my money if i put £10,000 in. I even asked him to confirm in 2 years i will see a return of £42,000.

i started asking questions about these claims and how high risk this must be where the other guy on the other line couldnt answer he stuttered and paused then he hung up on me!

With claims they can not back up and with all the press about investing in strategic land placements i would stay well clear!

Default Re: Natural wealth consultants SCAM???

I was contacted by Natural Wealth Consultants recently and did look on-line to check the company's details etc. Unfortunately I did not have normal google set up as my search engine, so did not see this site. I was very suspicious of the sales pitch I received, but asked detailed questions about the process of re-zoning. I foolishly transferred money to them, thinking I could do a detailed search and then quit the process if I did not wish to continue. They told me the process would only be completed if I sent a signed contract and identification etc. I realised how stupid I had been though and it hit home to me when the details that looked correct appeared on another seller's website, with the same plot of land marked as sold and those around it marked at a far lower price. I did get my money back, but it took a number of phone calls etc. (and a recorded letter). Basically and to state the obvious, would a legitimate company operate in that way and try to refuse to pay back my money? I also received a curious letter claiming that they had received my documentation to complete 'my trade', documentation I never sent (as I never received even a complete contract to sign). They tried to brow beat me into believing that a contract existed and only gave way when I stated the legal position repeatedly.
