Question Off Set Mortgages

i took out an offset mortgage with Inteligence Finance about 5 years ago, after looking at there advertising demo showing how offsetting can help finish the mortgage early it seemed exactly what i wanted .
Having made extra mortgage payments & have a savings account with £10,000 & a current account with approx £1,200 a month going through it .This i thought would of made a fair impact on the capital outstanding and term reduction. I have contacted IF on numerous occassions curious as to how much difference this offsetting has made to my mortgage so far , as yet they seem unable to give me any idea ! they say it is due to the complex calculations involved .Is it me being thick or is this usual ?..I have spoken to Nat West who market a similiar product and they assure me they give monthly figures regarding the offsetting and the current position. I am tempted to change lenders but i need to justify the costs and hassle involved..Any comments/help would be greatly appreciated ...

It sounds a little strange that they don't provide information specific to a customer - but before you consider switching, do watch out that there are not any restrictive terms and penalties for early repayment or moving to another provider.

changing providers is the last resort, it would just be nice to see some figures that show the term reduction , even an approx figure would be acceptable. This was the whole point in taking out the mortgage in the first place.
