I have a relevant degree but lack in sales experience. If I were to invest in a professional qualification would my prospects be increased exponentially, as the training providers would have me believe?
Or will I be simply wasting my money as employers will concentrate on my past work history and sales record?
In other words if I am lacking in experience is spending a grand n half and getting some pro qualification under my belt gonna make the slightest bit of difference?
If there are any IFAs, s/brokers or hiring managers out there then I very much welcome your thoughts.
The exams I would take are: Unit 1 - FSA Financial Regulation Unit 8 - Investment & Risk Unit 2 - Securities
Re: pro qualifications -any good? (need job advice)
Sorry, no expert in this field, but when it comes to sales it is all about a solid track record. Further qualifications would be ideal, but the employer will be looking for someone who can be snappy and savvy within the field of sales. Will be interesting to hear what others say on this topic.
