Do you think rentals make a good investment. I know people who own rental properies and most of them really do not make good money off of them.

Rentals can be a good investment, with the proper skills and management. It's a very time consuming task, but it has the potential to be very lucrative.

Well I think that renting can be very good, if done properly. I think that if you don't have the time or devotion to work hard in setting it up correctly, then you are better off selling then renting. However, if you manage it well and keep the renter in check then it works very well.

I personally do not like rentals, I just don't think that it ever works out right. I think that it is only appropriate to rent an apartment or equipment. I do not think that a house or a larger investment is a good idea.
