I read something very similar focusing on the different rates available in online saving accounts on myfinances.co.uk - definately make sure you read the small print for signing up for anything!
This is so important - it is so easy to get confused about the rates actually being offered. Also be careful to check whether it is a high rate just for a set amount of time, and move your savings if you need to when this runs out.
