Default Shares of Stocks

About 10 years ago, a gasoline company in our country sold some stocks thru SSS and we were able to get them thru salary deduction since we can pay them on installment basis.

For the first few years, we received meager dividends on our shares of stocks.

Lately, we have never received any communication although the
company still exists as of the moment.

Any piece of advice on what to do with this? How to resell them? The costs of each share are very much cheaper than when we bought them. We're really losing.

Ouch - sorry to hear that it's a loss, but hopefully you've spread your risk among a number of companies.

Personally, I think it's worth contacting the company for whatever further information you need - but it may also be worth phoning a broker and asking for some basic advice on the telephone (to see whether it's worth placing them in his/her care, of course).
