Default Skandia MultiISAs - Should I Cash In?

Wonder if anyone can help. Me and my wife have invested between us the best part of £13.5k in MultiISA's with Skandia.
Funds are spread across the following Units (Skandia Aggressive, Skandia Cautious, Skandia Balanced, Skandia Equity Income, Skandia Bond Income and Skandia MMT Ethical.
If we were to draw our money out nopw we would probably get about £8750 - some £4.75k less that what we have invested.
Should we take the money and run because things are going to get much worse or ride out the storm. We are not desperate for the money but we are so miffed re how much our investment has dropped in the last 4 months

Default Re: Skandia MultiISAs - Should I Cash In?

The stock market runs in cycles, and it's madness to acknowledge this and then seek to cash in on your loss in a market downturn.

The downturn is simply that, but unless you desperately need your money now, there's no pointing cashing in your loss.

Just hold on as the inevitable upturn comes about over the next few years, and watch it grow back.

I can say that as someone who's seen his ISA wiped out by 80% - but I'm not worried - I'm in this for the long term.
