Default Small investment

Hello,

I'm from the UK and I've been left a small inheritance and I would like to invest it in something so our family can have a really nice holiday in about a year/18 months time. Could someone very kindly suggest what I should be looking at please ?

Thanks for your time.

Mutual funds would probably be your best and safest bet. You can look them up online or see a broker locally to decide.

25% return every month cannot, by definition, be stable. Everyone in the world would be investing in something that gave 300% annual interest.

Did I miss something? I didn't notice anyone posting anything about a 25% monthly return. Heck, if it was legit, I'd be in on a return like that!

To be honest, investments on the stock exchange really need to be for a longer term really - 5+ years.

For an investment period of around just 12-18 months, I'd personally consider something like a ISA or high interest savings account - probably the latter, as ISA's tend to keep you locked in for a few years.

Looks like the post was removed. It must have been spam. The person was asking them to contact him for an investment opportunity, but I suspected a problem based on the claims.
