Default Stamp Duty Changes

As of the 24th of March there is no stamp duty on houses under 250k for first time buyers. The definition of a first time buyer is a little vague, however.

It is very clear the definition of a first time buyer is someone that has not owned any property before. Check out the BBC News website - Budget 2010: your stamp duty questions answered.
