Default TSB Classic Plus Interest Underpayment for Jul 2008

Anyone with a Lloyds TSB Classic Plus account and expecting 6% gross apr interest for July 2008 could have been substantially underpaid by TSB.

TSB call centre staff don't know what's gone wrong but agree that account holders have been underpaid. TSB Customer Service say that they're aware of the error but don't know why it's happened except that it's affecting all Classic Plus accounts.

They also say they don't know when it'll be corrected or if customers are going to be compensated for time and call costs in contacting TSB abou the issue.

Anyone know TSB's record on getting interest calculations on accounts right first time? Have errors been made in the past and what have they done to put any error right promptly.

Interesting - I haven't heard anything about this. Do you have more info?
