Wink US treasury bond futures

Hello There!

My name is Arthur (but call me Art). I am a new member. I am a student and am studying Financial Markets. Your website is great.

I read with interest the Khurram Naik's topics on the Blog. So interesting. Khurram keep going please

I have a question for you guys.

I was wondering how can I do to calculate the Yield of the US Treasury Bonds Futures traded on the CBOT.
For example, for the 30 Year U.S. Treasury Bonds Futures, I have found this page on the CBOT website: CBOT - Treasury 30 Yr Bond Quotes Open Auction

I do not understand how calculate the yield.

Let's assume the 30 year futures price is 111-09.
For me the yield is:
(100/111.09)*6% = 5,40%
6% is the coupon
But normally with a 111-09 price, my yield must be equal at 5,09%

Do you have any ideas?
Thanks a lot.

Arthur
