Default Vonage IPO

Anybody have an opinion on whether this company is a good investment?

I've used Vonage for over a year now and the service id O.K. but it has some issues.

I'd think twice about investing too heavily in this co. I don't know if they can compete against the cable giants that are now all offering VOIP services.

it is very hard to get someone on the phone for help. A lot of times when people call they get sent right to voice mail, my phone doesn't even ring. Those are the two major complaints I have.

Those are pretty big issues. Hey - when someone's calling me, I prefer for the phone to ring.

There is also another big problem with Vonage and other internet phone services alike. when your power goes out, you are shot. Unless you have a cell phone and live in an area where it picks up, you have no way of letting the power co. know that you are without. The cable companies, on the other hand, can offer to have your phone routed thru a traditional phone line and thru cable/internet.
