Default What Company?

What company have you invested in for your Insurance policies?
Did you just opt to use the same one your company has set you up with or did you research for your own?

I don't "invest" with insurance companies. I buy term insurance meaning I simply pay an annual premium and my family gets a death benefit should I croak.

I think what you're talking about is Whole Life Policies where you use your life insurance policy as an investment vehicle. Personally, I'm against that. I think you should invest the money on your own, and use your insurance policy for insurance only.

Great column about TERM vs. WHOLE LIFE. For anyone who needs clarification on LIFE INSURANCE, I would recommend you read this:

Thanks for the tip - I'll keep an eye out on Term Life instead.

I'm also with Benson on this, the only difference is that mine also covers critical illness

Some insurance for pension, term life have riders that covers accident/health benefits and I think this is the one that Oneofakind is into. They usually charge additional fee for these riders.
