Hi, I have just done a management and finance degree, and am thinking about becoming a self employeed invester.

Now if an individual gives me an amount of money to invest for them what am I liable for? what legal regulations do I have to abide to?

Can I say give me your moeny and ill invest it into what I think is best, then take a % of how ever much they invest? or take what ever I earn over a certain %?

I would speak to an accountant about this - not only are there potential traps for FSA regulation, you especially need to ensure any third-party money does not impact your own earnings and therefore tax liability.
