This does make sense, I certianly don't think it is a sexist issue. There is also the new insurance catered for women, covering designer handbags, priority assistence and a whole host of other schemes; I can't remember who is offering it.

I've known about this for years.

It's the same globally from what I understand. Something about women being statistically less likely to speed and such.

Should be the same regardless of gender.

Statistics mean nothing when it comes down to an individual - my Girlfriends insurance on exactly the same car is around 15% less.

I would like cheaper insurance!

Women drivers are preferred by some mining companies in Australia as they are easier on the gears and the equipment lasts longer.

Insure pink provides up to 17.5% online discounts plus 7.5% . Looking at the psychology involved, does it mean female drivers are more careful than the male. Or that less accident occur s with female drivers?
