Default Yahoo

What does everyone think about YAHOO has an alternative to GOOGLE? It's about 1/3 of the P/E ratio of GOOGLE and 1/3 of the market cap:

GOOGLE: P/E: 87 MARKET CAP:130B
YAHOO: P/E: 26 MARKET CAP: 46B

I think YHOO are a worthy investment as a longterm investment. Won't touch GOOG though.

Personally speaking, as someone who knows little about investing but is more familiar with the company business models, I would say that Yahoo and Amazon and eBay are strong internet providers that are already well-rooted in commerce, and are simply going to get bigger over the long-term. If I were investing know, I'd be happy to buy into their stocks.

I agree with Brian as these three companies are really doing well in the market and haven't been having strong competitions lately. They are established and they already have built their names in the net.

I will prefer yahoo over google anyday. While google is extremely popular right now, yahoo is steadily picking up the momentum. Yahoo offers a huge variety and very well in comparison to google.

At first, I was impressed by google's many features plus the fact that they are the pioneers with regards to search engines. However, I realized lately that they have lots of new programs and they also have gmail but their email system is not that good and yahoo really knows what we need and how to make us convenient in our accounts.
