I've said before I think YHOO is undervalued. There's too much honeymoon with Google but I think YHOO is the stronger company in terms of delivering. Too slow at present on delivering on the paid ads across webmaster sites but once they do the product will be strong.

I like Yahoo! too - they seem to be moving forward solidly and not over-rated, certainly not compared to google, which constantly pushes out sloppy betas and hopes the hype will carry it on.

I wonder what will happen next? Yahoo and eBay are also very strong when it comes to internet popularity and relevance. Google is the name in search engines. :S

The Yahoo! - Ebay partnership is certainly a good strategic move by most companies. But Google are really going to try and push with their new GBuy program...

What I have noticed with Google, they have many new 'gimmicks'. They are proactive with regards to new things and new 'inventions'. Well, this is good but I just don't know how this search engine war will go on

The trouble with Google is that although they've released a lot of different products, they haven't achieved any kind of market leadership in any of them. In fact, it's only search where they continue to dominate and generate most revenues from, which seems a somewhat precarious position to rest all expectation and speculation upon.

Yah, I also believe, they are the best in 'searching' which is now widely used with this synonym: 'googling'.

However, their email and others are not that effective.

Looks like eBay did the dirty on Yahoo! - announced a deal with Google yesterday:

That was a great link, Brian! I, myself, was taken by surprise. Well, I guess eBay is really wise to think of partnering of two internet giants. All three, yahoo, ebay and google are taking advantage of each others' marketability and definitely, it will help all of them.

I think eBay are looking pretty desperate, but Yahoo! must be pretty annoyed to see them partner with Google.

Yahoo is really starting to advertise everywhere and if you look online you will find that you will see advertisements for them in telephone books. Also, yahoo has a partnership with Verizon as well. They may eventually fly by google, but sometimes too much variety isn't very good.

Looks like we'll get some more surprises from the online icons

We'll just wait what happens next.
