The National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) has reported that the average difference between asking and selling prices fell to 1.9% in June, down from 6.3% in May.

New research from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (Rics) shows that house sellers are now achieving a higher proportion of asking prices.

Rightmove has reported that the average asking price for a home in England and Wales was down an annual 9% over the four week to the 7th March.
New listings for the period fell 57% year-on-year, to 79,000.
