In a trading update covering the 19 weeks to 10th May, Barratt Developments has reported that visitor and reservation rates have risen as the Spring selling season gets underway.

In a trading update, Bovis Homes reported that in the 17 weeks to 1st May the group secured 638 reservations for private house sales, compared with 373 in the same period of 2008.

Housebuilder Bellway has reported that it has seen house prices fall by up to 40% from their peak in August 2007.
