Halifax has identified the most expensive addresses in England and Wales, with Wycombe Square in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea topping the league at an average property price of £5,401,447.
According to the lender's research, the Royal Borough provides half of the 20 most expensive residential streets in the survey, while Greater London lays claim to the top ten.

Europe’s equities markets saw gains Thursday on gains for banks, insurers and the pharmaceuticals sector.
In London, the FTSE 100 added 0.49 percent to 3,712.06 while the FTSE 250 gained 0.56 percent to 6,060.31.

European equities markets were mostly higher Wednesday, but the FTSE 100 was lower in London on declines in the banking even though insurers saw gains.
The FTSE 100 was 0.58 percent lower to 3,693.81 but the FTSE 250 added 1.21 percent to 6,026.68.

European equities markets saw significant losses Wednesday as further concerns about recession were spurred after Mervyn King, the governor of the Bank of England, who said in a speech that the UK is probably already entering a recession.
The FTSE 100 was 4.46 percent lower to 4,040.89 and the FTSE 250 dropped 3.27 percent to 6,232.62 in London.
